National Geographic Islander II is a 48-passenger ship with a 1:1 guest-to-crew ratio with five expedition staff including an undersea specialist and a certified photo instructor. There are 26 cabin suites, all with panoramic windows and a seating area with sofa. The vessel features an impressive observation deck and a high-tech science hub, a fitness studio and sauna. Islander II carries a fleet of kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, a custom-built glass-bottom Zodiac, and enough Mark V Zodiacs so everyone can be out exploring at once. With top-quality naturalist guides, great food, and comfortable cabins, this is an excellent option for exploring the Galapagos.
